Welcome to the Keele Humanities and Social Sciences blog. We hope that, in the coming months and years, this site will provide a dynamic space on which to discuss research and related issues. We hope that it will foster interdisciplinary collaboration and encourage faculty-wide conversation.
Keele’s interdisciplinary nature is one of its most well-recognised strengths, and this blog will allow our research community to display our world-class research in an informal, open-access way. Contributions are welcomed from anyone within the Faculty – of all career stages – or from research projects affiliated with it. We will be actively encouraging regular contributions from both staff and postgraduate researchers. In addition, we will be seeking posts from administrative staff on topics such as funding, research governance and policy issues.
If you have a topic you’d like to blog about, or there’s a subject on which you’d like to curate a blog series, please get in touch with Mike Hession with a brief topic outline and a proposed date for publication. Blog posts should be between 500 and 1000 words long. They should be informal in tone and, where possible, include media such as photos or videos.
If you have any queries please get in touch, but otherwise, dive in, get involved, and we look forward to the conversation!
